Job Accountabilities

 

The Staffing Representative is responsible for all phases of talent acquisition.  Which includes building a pipeline, recruiting, screening, and hiring talented candidates for non-exempt/exempt, internal/external and technical/non-technical positions. In order to accomplish that successfully, this position has hands-on and strategic components related to the whole talent acquisition process – from developing the job description to a new employee’s first day.

 

Primary responsibilities for this position include the following:

 

  • Partner closely with the business and HR to determine talent gaps and workforce needs
  • Work with hiring managers and HR partners to identify and develop job descriptions
  • Define and execute recruitment strategies including direct and agency hiring
  • Develop and pursue innovative recruiting channels, in particular leverage social media

  • Source, recruit, interview and hire internal and external candidates
  • Educate the organization on how to read and up-level talent
  • Train stakeholders on first class interviewing techniques
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics of interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Drive the communication and status updates to candidates and hiring managers
  • Ensure timely and efficient processing of employment offer requests
  • Manage the transition of new employees including background/drug screening, relocation support, immigration and related activities up to the first day of employment
  • Lead and document post-interview debrief/feedback with interview teams and candidates
  • Maintain documentation on all searches, candidates and other recruiting activities as required by OFFCP guideline
  • Coordinate with the HR Services team to maintain a library of job descriptions and assist with classification reviews to determine appropriate FLSA status
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure full usage by stakeholders
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

 

 

Job Requirements

Successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

 

  • A minimum of three years of experience recruiting in a full life-cycle environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline
  • Customer-facing HR experience supporting high volume staffing
  • Demonstrated success building strong collaborative partnerships within HR and client groups
  • Desire to actively recruit and source passive candidates off social media platforms
  • Proven record of successfully recruiting and sourcing for technical and non-technical roles
  • Strong knowledge of interviewing techniques, including behavioral-based interviewing
  • In-depth knowledge of staffing operations including offer processing, pre-employment screening and relocation
  • Experience with a variety of applicant tracking systems (ATS), in particular iCIMS
  • Solid knowledge of federal and state regulations including EEO hiring requirements and best practices for addressing EEO and OFCCP requirements
  • Experience managing affirmative action plans and audits
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, interpersonal, communication, planning, and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy and a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment
  • Passion for supporting 24x7 manufacturing operations
  • Desire to work in an open office environment
  • Ability to work onsite at our Hillsboro, Oregon facility
